Good Times

Having completed the first 90 Days of my Unofficial Sabbatical, I thought it would be a good idea do a “Quarterly Performance Review” with myself… As you might have guessed, I received Outstanding Marks in all areas : ) And as a reward for my 1Q2008 Performance, I’ve decided to take some time off from the hustle and bustle of the Florida scene. More on that in a minute. First, I need to catch you all up on what I’ve been doing for the past three months:

Contrary to popular belief, I have been very productive over the past 90 days since quitting my Corporate America Day Job. In addition to an increased devotion to my leadership role within my church’s Young Professionals group (www.crossroadsfbc.org), I have done a significant amount of volunteer work (mostly with “At Risk Youth”) and have served as the Marketing Director for Bonnie’s pottery efforts (www.bonniekduncan.com). On top of that, I have done seven new websites for various small businesses. Oh yeah, and lets not forget that I have been religiously working out five days a week! (For those of you keeping score at home, my last weigh in was at 153.6 lbs.)

Which brings us to this morning… After having moved all of my worldly possessions into a storage unit (including my motorcycle and my car) I am now ready to head off to Sea for the next 40 Days & 40 Nights! You see, Bonnie got a short term assignment as the resident Pottery Instructor aboard Princess Cruise Lines Coral Princess Ship, and she is required to bring along an assistant. Because of my 1Q2008 Performance that I spoke of earlier, I was graciously selected for the position. In all honesty, it’s the sweetest gig ever. All expenses paid, Officer’s Quarters, and all for approximately 10 hours of work per week (and thats only on the days we are at sea – while in port, we’re passengers only.) That said, here is my itinerary:
