Costa Rica is officially batting 1.000 in my book. After Kayaking in Round One and Zip Lines in Round Two, we decided to do some River Rafting through the Rain Forest for our third tour of Costa Rica. Though the river was pretty mellow (Class II), this meant that we had to do quite a bit of paddling to keep moving, which made for great scenery and a great workout! We saw tons of White Faced Monkeys and plenty of giant Iguanas.
After our trip, we had a nice lunch at a restaurant on the side of the Pan-American Highway. All in, Costa Rica was a great place to explore nature and the Rain Forest. Those seeking “Beach Resorts” need look elsewhere.
Until next time,
