Day 144 – Kitchen Table

I spent the morning in bed, answering emails and working a flyer for an upcoming event that Bonnie is running.

After rolling out of bed and making the 40-yard walk to my Tia’s house, I took my place at the kitchen table with my sister Hilda and there I stayed for the next thirteen hours. First, it was breakfast, then there was a 90-minute discussion about “Who actually goes to heaven?” with my Mom and sister, then lunch… : )

This afternoon, my cousin came over with her son and daughter and we spent about three hours conversing at the kitchen table… Talk about an amazing testimony! Through the death of a husband and multiple bouts with health problems, she has managed to raise two incredible children and establish a full fledged embroidery business now on the verge of picking up major contracts! And by her testimony, this has all occurred by the hand and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ! We really had an awesome conversation and she really did inspire me in both perseverance and faith.

Over and over again I find true Christians who carry with them the peace, faith, and understanding that their is a Sovereign God who is in full control of their lives and that all they have to do is be obedient to His greatest commandments:

36″Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ – Matthew 22: 36-39

The rest of the evening was spent finishing up the flyer for Bonnie (pictured above).

God Always Provides!

Until Next Time,
